Weekly Meet Ups and Social Networking...

Last week went extremely well and the desire to do it every week was so strong we are going to give it a shot. We will meet every Sunday from 1-5 at the South Pointe Hobbytown USA. Every week I will bring my video camera for anyone who has anything they want to share on video.

It seems like this group has a lot of great ideas to push the club towards the future so you definitely don't want to miss out.

Come join us at http://www.facebook.com/groups/156364754463354/ for all of the discussions outside of the meets and for info about weekly meets.

Nebraska Chapter...

Even though it was short lived the Royal Order of the Tethered Gyroscope was a big hit in the Virginia/DC area and so now that I may have time to put into it on a regular basis I really want to get a Nebraska Chapter going.

With the help of Alan Bright who has secured us an indoor venue at the South Pointe Hobbytown USA store in Lincoln, NE we may do just that! We are having our first meet up this Sunday November 27, 2011 from 2pm-4pm. Any and all are welcome to join us. Since this is our first time meeting each other it will most likely be very informal getting to know you type stuff and see what people would like to do with our time to get the most out of it and, in a non-competitive way, see what skill level everyone is at.

I am very excited to get the club back up and running. For those not familiar with where the Southpointe Hobbytown USA store is the address is:
     3120 Pine Lake Road
     Lincoln, NE

Hope to see you all there.
